Our Mission
Parya is working towards creating a community centre that will meet the needs of Iranian-Canadians with a special focus placed on elderly and youth. Our goal is to provide the space and facilities that would meet their unique social needs. In developing the appropriate services, we strive to enable them to live their lives in the most independent and dignified manner possible, while staying connected to their roots and heritage.
Our Objectives
To provide, perform, facilitate and execute programs that foster cultural, social, and educational activities for the members of the community including fitness & cultural enhancement. To design and establish programs that provides opportunities of interaction within other communities and cultures. To support, promote, and sponsor other community and charity organizations that foster the same and/or similar values in cultural, social and educational actives as well as physical and mental well being within the community. To optimize usage of its facilities and spaces to perform, implement and promote above mentioned activities and objectives.
Our Values
Active Community Citizenship Supporting members of the Iranian-Canadian community, particularly newcomers, to become actively engaged in the life of their newly adopted country. Working together toward establishing common goals in enriching the values of the fabric of the Canadian mosaic.
