To make it easier and more fun for children to learn more about their Iranian Cultural Heritage, Parya held a Chaharshanbeh Suri (Fire Festival) Ceremony on March 15, 2010.
The event was warmly welcomed by both children and families. The festivities included children’s facespainting by high school students, puppet show by Vida Ghahremani, painting class under the supervision of Maryam Afshar, story telling by Nasrin Javanfar, live musical performance by high school students, and of course jumping over fire.
