AHMAD REZA TABRIZI is the founder & Chair of Parya Trillium Foundation and an inspirational Iranian – Canadian entrepreneur, known for his philanthropy both in Canada and his home country of Iran. Parya was born from the frustration of seeing his aging father become more and more isolated and withdrawn due to the lack of Persian-language interactions and activities. This inspired him to establish the first ever Iranian community center in the world in 2002. His dedication and devotion has played an important role in the success of this establishment. Mr. Tabrizi was the recipient of the province’s highest recognition, the Order of Ontario for 2020. The Order of Ontario honors individuals whose exceptional achievements have left a lasting legacy in the province, Canada and beyond. He was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal 2012, National Ethnic Press Council of Canada – Distinction in Business 2007 an Pioneer for Change – Community Engagement 2014.

FOROOZAN JALAEIFAR was appointed the Executive Director in 2019. Foroozan has been one of the pillars since the inception of Parya in 2002. She began her journey initially as a volunteer, helped as a secretary/administrator for 9 years and since 2011 has overseen the operations as well as managing program coordination’s. She has proven her dedication and shown her love of working with the community by her patience, generosity and dedication of her time.
